Sandy Bay Caravan Park is open from 1st March to 14 February allowing you to enjoy the changing seasons in the countryside. We look forward to introducing you to our range of Holiday Homes available for purchase through our office.

Sandy Bay is ideally situated for those that enjoy the outdoors with the benefits of village life. Fabulous walking and cycling routes are available directly from the park.
Sandy Bay offers a varied selection of both new and pre-owned holiday homes to suit every budget. Each pitch is serviced with electricity, mains water and drainage, and bottled gas. Wifi internet access is available.
All holiday homes are privately owned and sub letting is not allowed.
We have a launderette on-site for your washing needs and Wifi access is also available.
Situated on the fringe of the village of Knott-End-on-Sea, a beautiful rural seaside location. The Lancashire Coastal path forms part of our boundary and this level footpath can be accessed from the Park. A 10 minute walk along the path takes you to Knott End, which has everything for the needs of the caravan owner. There is a great range of local independent shops including a butchers, a bakery, and greengrocers. Knott End also offers a range of eating places, a bowling green, an 18 hole golf course.
The bright lights of Blackpool are a short drive away. Lancaster, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland are also within easy reach.
Sandy Bay is right on the coast with direct access to miles of beach, providing an opportunity for endless leisure activities such as horse riding, kite flying, fishing and family walks.
Preesall & Knott End
Situated next to Morcambe Bay, Sandy Bay Caravan Park is ideally located to enjoy the watersports in the area. There are also great fishing opportunities close by, along with horse riding, cycling and walking.
Knott End on Sea has a great range of shops, cafes, restaurants and takeaways. There are also two clubs, The Working Mens Club and The Squash Club, and The Bourne Arms public house. This friendly village also boasts a library, a bowling green and a golf course. With great transport links to the surrounding areas via the local bus service and the ferry link to Fleetwood.
A historic local market town, a 15 minute drive from the park. There is a traditional market every Thursday selling local produce. The town also has a number of bigger supermarkets. Steeped in history, Garstang is proud to be the World’s First Fairtrade Town. Public facilities in Garstang include a library (Windsor Road), sports/leisure centre (Windsor Road), swimming pool (Oak Road) and health centre (Kepple Lane). A recycling facility is in the nearby parish of Claughton (Brockholes Way)
A 30 minute drive will take you to Lancaster. This delightful city is home to two universities, a Castle, two theatres and a cinema. There is a pleasant city centre shopping area with easy parking. Lancaster has plenty going on, with different live music festivals, concerts and theatrical performances. Williamson Park is fabulous, meandering walks through the parkland, a great children’s play areas, and a butterfly house.
The popular seaside town of Blackpool is only 10 miles away. Blackpool has something for everyone, the seafront, donkey rides, amusement arcades, all the pubs and clubs. Children love The Sandcastle Waterpark and The Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Blackpool Tower is a must! There are also two theatres’ to enjoy, regular events on the comedy carpet and the Illuminations. And don’t forget a trip to Blackpool Zoo and Stanley Park.
The city of Preston is located 20 miles away from Sandy Bay and is nestled in the heart of Lancashire. It is home to a number of modern retail parks, and a great city centre shopping area. For those who enjoy some culture, Preston has a number of art galleries and museums. Preston comes to life with a variety of events throughout the year.
